Etherisc is a blockchain-based insurance that mainly focuses on parametric insurance solutions. It was established in the year 2016 by Stephan Karpischek, Christoph Mussenbrock, and Renat Khasanshyn. It is headquartered in Germany. Etherisc is creating a decentralized insurance application protocol that leverages blockchain technology to enhance the efficiency of insurance transactions, reduce operational expenses, and offer improved transparency within the industry. Etherisc has developed an open-source platform aiming to automate insurance processes using smart contracts on blockchain technology, known as Generic Insurance Framework (GIF).
