DC Fintech Week started in 2017 on the campus of Georgetown University Law Center with the straightforward goal of democratizing information and enabling everyone from nonprofits and technologists to entrepreneurs and regulators to engage in meaningful conversation about fintech and the future of finance for unlimited access. The conference brings the best and the brightest to Washington, DC for talks across the fintech ecosystem, including crowdfunding, internet lending, cryptocurrencies, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), open banking, and more. In a way, it is one of the big public panels where senior government officials can converse with economists, Bitcoin dealers, academics, human rights advocates, and providers of digital infrastructure.
