B The Change either flows through young people
Last updated an hour ago
Ram Challa, founder of B The Change Welfare Society, has spent the past two decades doing one thing extraordinarily well: showing up. Twenty years of consecutive grassroots work, 9 programs, 200,000+ lives touched, two countries. every program at B The Change either flows through young people, or it fails. Coding on Wheels reaches the children. Change makers trains the next generation of grassroots leaders. Cross Connect Legal Aid pairs law students with the cases that build advocates.
Local before national. Every program is run by people who live in the community it serves. We don't fly teams in. We hire from the village, the slum, the school.
Show up for ten years. Real change is inter generational. We commit to communities for a minimum decade, even when funding cycles say otherwise.
Measure what matters. Not vanity metrics. Did the child finish school? Did the mother pay rent six months in a row? Did the case get filed? That's our scorecard.
One donor, one impact line. If you fund a Coding on Wheels classroom, you get the names of the children, the school, the laptop count, and the term-end results. Direct. Unfiltered.
Refuse what doesn't fit. We say no to grants that come with strings that compromise the work. That's why our growth has been slower than peers, and our retention has been higher.
