The Blockchain Law for Social Good (BL4SG) Center, the first of its type in an American law school, uses Professor Michele Neitz's wide network of contacts in the legal and regulatory communities to educate a new generation of lawyers on how to critically consider blockchain technology. The Algorand Foundation is the Center's sponsor. The BL4SG Center has the chance to define this sector in the legal industry by teaching law students, attorneys, and legislators about blockchain's ability to level the playing field inclusively.
By fostering a fair regulatory framework and a more inclusive and diverse environment for blockchain technology in the United States, the BL4SG Center will advance the sector. With a focus on how this new technology will advance socially beneficial causes, the mission of this organization is to advance research and policy in the developing field of blockchain technology and the law, as well as blockchain education for law students, attorneys, legislators, and regulators through classes, speakers' series, conferences, and other forums.
