We believe that art can make the world a better place. Artblog's mission is to create and foster dialog about art, power, value, and truth, in order to promote a better future for all. Our independent online arts publication focuses on marginalized artists—BIPOC, LGBTQ artists, and women—whose art traditionally has been shunned by the mainstream media. Our inclusive writing and editorial teams embrace our mission and work collaboratively to steer the discussion. Our program is online and in the community.
We started in 2003 by Robert Fallon and Libby Rosof with a mission to educate and support the community of artists, art lovers, gallerists, critics, and academics, In 2005 and 2007 we got recognition for our excellence twice by "Art in America" and received grants from the " Knight Foundation " three times, Working as a team of writers, editors, tech support and volunteers.
Today we provide weekly content on the changing art scene in Philadelphia, With 18 years of experience in the industry, we are continuously operating to form a unique and valued online archive that can connect people relatively. We are mentoring the upcoming generation of cultural journalists. We are raising the bar by working with established writers on commentary and steering the discussion into important topics for today which need to be discussed.
