Alternative Investment Management Association

AIMA (Alternative Investment Management Association) is a global organization that represents the alternative investment industry. It includes around 2,100 corporate members in over 60 countries. It offers various educational resources including certification courses on alternative investments. Members of AIMA can choose each year from over 200 seminars, conferences, and webinars held in key financial hubs worldwide. AIMA was founded in the year 1990 and is located in London, England, United Kingdom. When they first started they had only a part-time secretary and even by 2005 they had eight staff members, with time AIMA has seen significant growth.
