Cheryl Crumpton is the Head of Litigation, Regulatory Enforcement, and Investigations at Robinhood. Being serving as the Head, she oversees the process of taking legal actions, regulatory compliance and enforcement carried out by imposing law enforcement authorities and agencies over the financial and business activities of Robinhood. Before beginning to serve at Robinhood in 2021, Cheryl held the position of Associate General Counsel at Exelon, which is the largest utility company operating 10+ million customers via six fully regulated utilities.
Began her career life as Law Clerk to the Honorable R. Lanier Anderson, III at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, in 2001. In later 2002, joined Baker Botts LLP as Litigation Associate where she worked for nearly two years. In 2007, she grabbed the opportunity to serve as Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland where she worked for five years. Elevating her career growth, Cheryl became the Assistant Chief Litigation Counsel of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Enforcement in 2012. Consequently, in 2015, became Supervisory Assistant Chief Litigation Counsel / Supervisory Trial Counsel at the Same.
