Celyeste Power is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Insurance Bureau of Canada, where she plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry in Canada. With a strong background in strategic initiatives, advocacy, and leadership, Power has made significant contributions to the industry through her work with various stakeholders and governments.Throughout her career, Power has demonstrated her ability to effectively lead and manage teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Her extensive experience in the insurance sector has equipped her with a deep understanding of the industry's complexities and challenges, allowing her to develop and implement effective strategies to address these issues.Power is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, and has been recognized for her efforts in promoting these values within the insurance industry. She is also a member of The Insurance Supper Club Canada, a network of insurance professionals dedicated to fostering connections and knowledge sharing.Power holds a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and has completed the MBA Essentials for Managers program at the University of Ottawa. She is fluent in both French and English.
