Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl is the Director General of DIGITALEUROPE, which is the leading digital technology industry association representing over 45,000 digital companies in Europe. DIGITALEUROPE is an international non-profit association that includes 41 national trade associations from across Europe as well as 102 corporations which are global leaders in their field of activity. This association represents over 45,000 businesses that operate and invest in Europe. The daily management of the association is the responsibility of the Director General, Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl, supported by a team of digital policy experts. The General Assembly gathers all members and meets at least once a year, and the Executive Board includes 10 representatives from national trade associations and 10 executives from corporate members. The Executive Board defines DIGITALEUROPE's mission and objectives, sets future priorities, and decides on plans and final policy positions. DIGITALEUROPE's team is made of policy, communications, and operations experts, and business-minded professionals of over 20 different nationalities. Staff members are responsible for DIGITALEUROPE’s engagement and outreach activities in all policy areas covered by the association
