Brett Gibson

Brett is the managing partner of Initialized Capital, Brett spent his career writing software and investing across various domains including crypto, and AI/ML cloud infrastructure. He co-founded the blog platform and later wrote software for Y combinator, building its essential internal software system. He was also the founder of the social news platform Slinkest. Brett has deep experience in enterprise SaaS and dev tools and invests primarily in crypto and web3 companies. 

He’s interested in the technical, and infrastructure side of crypto, as well as real uses, social applications, how people are adopting it, and how companies handle data sovereignty and privacy. In his new role, he’ll oversee investments across all of the investing sectors.
