Ben Goertzel

Ben Goertzel is the CEO and founder of singularityNET, It is a decentralized platform specially designed to create Artificial intelligence. He is serving as CEO since 2017. He also served as Chairman of the OpenCog Foundation, which focuses on developing AGI technologies, and as Chief Scientist at Hanson Robotics, where he contributed to the development of the Sophia robot. Ben Goertzel is known for introducing the concept of AGI in his 2005 book.He has researched various areas including natural language processing, cognitive science, and machine learning. He aims to create systems that are not controlled by any single entity, thereby ensuring that AGI development benefits humanity as a whole.
