Barrie Foley

Barrie is a seasoned executive who has experience in managing and growing companies at all levels. As an engineer by training, he has significant operational experience as well as a very strong strategic approach to business. His specialism has been growing companies internationally and securing and managing the investment that is needed to underpin those growth plans. He has worked for many blue-chip organizations as he built his reputation and experience, including Exxon, Mars, Smiths, and Invensys. Before joining CPS, as VP at Smiths Detection Systems, he transformed the hardware product family by enhancing the benefits of software integration, project management, and service. Barrie has had first-class experience in the renewable energy sector working with large EPC contractors. He is no stranger to Sustainability growth initiatives. His experience in the renewable energy sector helped him focus on carbon footprint and using technology to reduce carbon emissions during the manufacturing process as well as long-term service during the life cycle of a product.
