Avery Ching

Avery Ching is the Chief Technological Officer and co-founded Aptos Labs, a company that emphasizes developing a safe and scalable Layer1 Blockchain. He has a decade of experience in building distributed technologies, he also played a significant role in the evolution of the blockchain ecosystem.

Ching earned his PhD in Computer Engineering from Northwestern University, specializing in supercomputing and parallel computing frameworks

Before finding Aptos Labs, Avery Ching was a leader of the crypto platform team at Meta, where he was involved in various blockchain projects, including the Diem blockchain. He also served as the tech lead for Meta's batch processing teams, working on technologies that support analytics for billions of users across Meta's products.
