Ashish Baghel

Ashish Baghel is the Head of Digital Banking Channels at Prime Bank in Kenya. He has over 17 years of experience in the digital banking and IT industry. Baghel started his career in 2003 as a Software Professional at the Bank of Rajasthan, where he gained experience in software development and implemented Finacle Internet Banking. He then worked at IDBI Intech as a Project Leader, integrating Finacle Internet Banking with various e-commerce merchants and government e-payment portals.In 2011, Baghel joined Infosys Technologies Ltd as a Senior Consultant, focusing on the implementation, upgradation, and migration of internet and mobile banking applications. He later transitioned to ICICI Bank as a Senior Manager, responsible for collecting and validating business requirements for digital banking channels.Baghel holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Lakshmi Narain College of Technology in Bhopal. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a specialization in Operations Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in Pune.In his current role at Prime Bank Kenya, Baghel oversees the delivery of business and technology solutions aligned with the organization's goals and compliance demands. He was recently featured in an episode of the "Digital Game Changers" podcast by Tagit, discussing his experience and insights in the digital banking space.
