Andres Fondevila

Andres Fondevila is the Head of Digital Assets at BBVA Asset Management & Global Wealth. In this role, he is responsible for the firm's digital asset initiatives and strategy. Before this, Fondevila held the position of Global Head of Control & Compliance at BBVA Asset Management, overseeing risk control and compliance across all of the firm's geographies. Fondevila is an experienced professional in the asset management industry, with expertise in areas such as blockchain, digital assets, and financial technology. He has recently completed internal training on these topics for BBVA Asset Management in Spain and other countries where the firm operates. Additionally, Fondevila has been featured as a speaker at industry events, such as the European Blockchain Convention, where he was welcomed as a speaker in February 2024
