Experienced technology professional. Evangelist of DeGate DAO. Previously, as Coursera's first employee outside the US, He built and led the first on the ground team to lead strategy, marketing and business development for Coursera in China. He also held various roles within the Singapore government as a government scholar, notably leading Data Management policy at the Ministry of Finance, as a core member of the APEC trade negotiating team working with diplomats from 21 countries across the Asia Pacific, and as a speechwriter for the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Trade Minister of Singapore.At Yale he led a student group advocating for child health in developing countries, was co-chair of the Malaysian and Singaporean Association, and acted in the Yale Children's Theatre. In my free time I'm a closet singer-songwriter and failed Singapore Idol contestant. Hewas awarded the Public Service Commission Overseas Merit Scholarship by the Singapore Government, one of 30 in the country every year.
