Alexandre Kech serves as the Director at Citi Ventures Innovation of Blockchain and Digital Assets space. He has twenty-five years of traditional and open finance experience from international custody and asset servicing at the Bank of New York to Head of Securities and FX APAC at Swift.

 

He has acquired a strong post-trade experience and industry leadership, which he has extended to digital assets and blockchain in the last 5 years. It began with a few proofs-of-concept at SWIFT, a DLT implementation with the Australian Securities Exchange & Digital Asset, and a few bitcoins purchased "to try it out" in 2017.

 

He rapidly became a conviction, leading to the co-founding of Onchain Custodian, a digital asset custody and prime-broker fintech company in Singapore. Moving on to the next challenge in Switzerland. Graduated from Quantic School of Business and Technology, Executive Master of Business Administration, in 2020, and ULB, Master in translation(ISTI), English-Russian, in 1995.
