Alakanani Itireleng also referred to as "The Bitcoin Lady", is an enthusiastic African entrepreneur and a passionate blockchain and cryptocurrency influencer. A visionary person with exceptional abilities to observe and quickly adapt to new emerging blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem technologies. She offers support for startup business enterprises as well as communities to acknowledge the attributes of the elevating world because of blockchain and cryptocurrency. She is now based in Gaborone, South-East Botswana.

 

Alankanani operates along with developers to put effort into trying to raise understanding of bitcoin and blockchain technology and to build developers in the space of Botswana to utilize this technology to provide solutions to the obstacles that are faced by African people in day-to-day life.  In 2014, she established the Satoshicentre, which was built to enable young entrepreneurs to incorporate enthusiasts, intellectuals, and cultural and socially-minded spirits; to build awareness of Bitcoin, and to operate along with developers and programmers.

 

Currently, Alakanani holds the positions of Chief Executive Officer at Satoshicentre, VP of token innovation at AfroDEXLabs, Bitcoin enthusiast, miner, and teacher at DPSM, offering religious education as well as a detailed study of computer awareness. She completed her education at the AMITY, earning a Master’s degree in Business Administration and International Business, and also attended the University of Botswana, studying Post Graduate Diploma. She is a highly skilled individual who incorporates a rich knowledge of numerous industrial, technological, and interpersonal skills, including strategic planning, public speaking, curriculum development, management, and many others.
