MARIO RUIZ

Mario Ruiz is known to be the Co-founder and Partner at Infinity Ventures. Being an entrepreneur at heart since childhood, Mario started taking over the industry and at a very early age, he started his own first company in middle school as an online sneaker reselling Business, which helped him pay his entire college fee through the profit he earned in seven years by selling more than 1k pairs. He learned a lot about the old-fashioned commerce process through this experience , including payments and customer support. His entrepreneurial mindset makes him an ideal investor, and he also helps the founders navigate their challenges and grow their businesses. Previously Mario served as a venture investor at PayPal Ventures and Dorm Room Fund, and later as the growth equity investor at Napier Park Global Capital. Before all this, Mario started his career at Barclays as an investment banking analyst and associate. Mario is currently a part of the Kauffman Fellows program. Alongside his investment works, his a vocal supporter of diversity, equity, and the importance of decentralized finance he has been sharing insights as a fintech speaker at many events.
